Nestle Purina Internship | Print |  E-mail

I found your email address on the Gamma Chapter, Delta Sig site.  I’m a Delta Sigma Pi alumni who graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2004.  Delta Sig gave me much in the way of opportunities and job search advice, so I thought naturally, I should give back.

For the previous three years I’ve been working for a branding/advertising agency in St. Louis.  My role revolves around digital marketing and emerging technologies in the field of advertising, or what was once called advertising.

I’m writing you now to reach out to the current class of Delta Sig to share a Nestlé Purina recruiting project I’ve been working on lately.  Adamson is using social media to help Nestle Purina recruit for marketing, internal audit, sales and manufacturing positions within their company.  I figured I’d give my Delta Sig brethren the inside track.

Please pass this email along to the chapter, especially if you know of anyone looking for internships/jobs (alumni that are still job seeking are welcome too).  There are plenty of places within the social properties listed below for people to interact with Purina to learn more about a field they are interested in.  Nestlé Purina is a highly coveted place to work ( http://stlouis.bizjournals.com/stlouis/stories/2009/04/20/focus19.html ) and the internships/trainee opportunities go quickly, so encourage people to sign up early.  Currently, they are looking for graduates, but even if you know people who have not yet graduated, this is a great way for them to start interacting with the company.

Fan the Fan Page, watch the videos, follow the Twitter feed and please do yourself a favor by interacting in the discussion boards and on the wall.  This is a great opportunity to connect with representatives form the company in your job search.

I wish I had access to resources like this when I was in school.  Insert “back in my day...” old man line here :)

Finance & Accounting Intern | Print |  E-mail
A fellow SMG graduate is leaving his internship @ Partners health care this week (to work full time with Deloitte in NYC) and was wondering if there are any SMG juniors available for a part time internship during the school year (and can lead to summer opportunities). I would extend this opportunity to SMG juniors and any sophomores who seem "legit" and interested Tasks include processing invoices for payment and other administrative duties. The pay is pretty good and the people they are lenient when it comes to events or hours off.

Please forward this to DSP members that are interested. If anyone has any questions they can contact Bharat Santhanam @ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
