On January 19th, 2010 Delta Sigma Pi will be working with the Red Cross
to sponsor a Blood Drive in Rich Hall. Each donor will receive a pound
of Dunkin' Donuts coffee in appreciation of their contribution.
Brothers will help to sign in participants and distribute snacks. |

27 brothers, 2 pledges, and 2 guests attended a lecture by guest speaker Martin Kantrowitz, a senior manager at Stryker Orthopaedics. Mr. Kantrowitz discussed his experiences as a project manager and offered advice on how to be successful at managing tasks and people. He also hosted a question and answer session afterwards. |

On Monday September 21, 35 brothers and 48 recruits came to see Boston
City Council President Michael Ross speak. Discussion included the
economic status of the city and housing issues that are affecting the
city and in particular college students.

The Gamma Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi was reinstated in 2007. The hard work of many individuals resulted in the creation of a petition to the Central Office that eventually led to reinstatement. This charter can be seen here. |

44 brothers from the Gamma Chapter and 25 guests attended "The Money Game," a presentation by honorary Deltasig Adam Carroll. Over the course of the presentation Mr. Carroll helped educate students on financial issues and how to finish college in front of the financial 8-ball and in a position to play the game to win. |

Guest speaker Cindy Brown, President of the Boston Duck Tours, spoke to 51 brothers and 6 pledges about her career on March 23rd. Discussion included how she ended up working at Boston Duck Tours and eventually became President of the organization. Ms. Brown also offered advice to brothers who expressed interest in working in the industry, and hosted a Q&A session at the end of the event. |

25 brothers and 23 recruits for our spring recruitment attended a professional event with guest speaker Professor Ken Parker on January 22nd, 2009. Professor Parker discussed his entrepreneurial background and gave advice to students interested in starting their own business.

Guest speaker Rob Weisman, a technology and business reporter from the Boston Globe, came and spoke to 21 brothers, and several pledges about the current state of the economy, the job market and what it is like to work as a business reporter. Mr. Weisman also fielded questions, and offered advice to brothers who are seniors and will be entering the labor force soon. |

Twenty two brothers from Delta Sigma Pi volunteered to help work at a charity fundraiser, called Casino Night. This even raised money for the Boston Medical Center. Brothers manned black jack tables, and roulette wheels, and also helped organize the event thrown by our business school. |
